This is another one of the paintings I created to help teach myself how to paint. It is a reproduction of the outside album cover for the YESSONGS triple album released in 1973 by the progressive rock band Yes. The original art on this album was painted by Roger Dean who has had an enormous influence on me. When I painted this one I did alter the original color scheme to make the scene moodier and more dimly lit. This painting shows minimal damage at the edges.
